March is Colon Cancer Prevention Month

Colon cancer is the third most common and second highest cancer-related cause of death in the United States. Yet it is also one of the most preventable forms of cancer. Identifying and removing polyps during screening can decrease the risk of death by 60% to 90%.

Mercer Island Rotary and its health care community partners want to team up with you to raise funds that can save lives in Washington and the Pacific Northwest, by preventing this terrible disease.

All funds raised by event participants will be used to provide support, awareness, and resources for colon cancer prevention.
