Donations
Even if you can't enter a Mercer Island Run Day event, you can still join the fight against colon cancer and help support the Mercer Island Rotary Club Foundation in one of four ways.
Support, or become, an online fundraiser
If you get an email from an event fundraiser, simply follow the link in the email to make a contribution, or go to the online registration page and click on the Fundraising link at the top. You'll be able to specify the fundraiser you want to support by clicking on the "Make a Donation" link. Or, if you'd like to be a fundraiser yourself, click on the "Invite Others to Donate" link. You will be need to make your own contribution to be listed as an online fundraiser for the event. Note that no processing fees are charged for donations made in this manner.
Add a donation when you register for an event online
Simply check the box and specify the amount you wish to contibute, in addition to your event fee, during the online registration process. Note that the processing fee is computed on the basis of the total amount paid upon completion of your registration, including your donation.
Add a donation to your mail-in event registration form
You can also add a donation to your event fee when you sign up for an event by mailing in your registration form. Simply fill in the amount you wish to donate as you complete the form.
Mail-in or drop-off donations without registering for an event
Even if you are not entering an event and don't wish to make a donation through our online registration site, you can download and complete this donation form to help raise funds for Colon Cancer Awareness and support other charitable causes funded by Mercer Island Run Day.
